The image of Wu Chen
Some mountains hide lakes. Wu (戊) is Yang Earth, the mountain, and Chen (辰) is the Dragon, the rain-soaked end of spring, traditionally a storehouse of Water. Together they make a peak with a reservoir inside, solid on the surface and quietly irrigating the valleys below.
The Dragon's main hidden stem is Wu itself, your Friend (比肩, bi jian), backed by Yi (乙) Wood, your Direct Officer (正官, zheng guan), and Gui (癸) Water, your Direct Wealth (正财, zheng cai). Wu Chen pairs Wu, the mountain-like Yang Earth stem, with Chen, the rain-soaked Dragon branch, fifth in the sixty-cycle. As your day pillar, it makes Wu Earth your Day Master and puts Wu Earth, Yi Wood and Gui Water in your spouse palace. Traditionally it points to a grounded, dignified, self-sufficient character with a generous core.
Who is compatible with Wu Chen?
Start with the caution: a Dog day branch clashes with the Dragon, stirring up both storehouses.
