JadeBazi ("we") offers a BaZi calculator and related content at jadebazi.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Birth details
When you use the calculator, your birth date, time, time zone and sex are processed in your browserto draw your chart. They are not sent to us for that step.
If you click Write my reading, those birth details and the calculated chart are sent to our server and to our AI text provider (DeepSeek) so the reading can be written. We do not ask for your name, and we do not link birth details to an email address or account. To avoid writing the same reading twice, we store the finished text for up to 30 days under an anonymous fingerprint of the chart; it cannot be traced back to you.
If you join a waiting list, we store your email address, the time you signed up, your approximate country and your Day Master stem, and use them only to send the announcement you asked for. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Technical data
Our site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes IP addresses and basic request data to deliver pages and block abuse. We use your IP address briefly to rate-limit reading requests; we do not store it with your birth details. We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or follow you across other sites. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Paid reports and payments
Payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card number. When you buy a report, PayPal shares your payment email and the transaction ID with us; we keep them for accounting, refunds and support.
To deliver your report and let you return to it, we store your birth details and the finished report under a private, unguessable link. Anyone who has that link can open the report, so share it only with people you trust. Ask us any time and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete any personal data we hold about you — in practice, your email address — by writing to hello@jadebazi.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK or California you have these rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA, and you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes will be noted on this page.
