The image of Ji Hai
Picture a lowland field after the winter rains, dark, soaked and quietly fertile. Ji (己) is Yin Earth, the tilled field, and the Pig (亥, hai) is the Water of early winter. Earth holds Water, and a field that holds rain is rich, which is why the Pig's Ren (壬) Water is your Direct Wealth (正财, zheng cai). Everything next year's harvest needs is being stored right now.
